Supporting the Elderly during Corona times

Now more than ever, we are providing support to the elderly during the pandemic

Why Should You Donate To Israeli Charities?

Efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19 have unfortunately caused serious nutrition and financial crisis, especially for daily wagers. Lockdown and containment measures have disrupted the food distribution system and threatened food security for already vulnerable families.

Before the coronavirus pandemic, almost 26% of Israeli families were already living under the poverty line and around 20% of the population had difficulty arranging three-time meals. After the Covid-10 crisis, unemployment and lockdown increased this ratio from 20% to an alarming 29%. Which means our people need us more than ever.

Israeli Charities – Fighting Against Hunger And Food Insecurity

Meir Panim is, as always, committed to bringing relief for as many Israelis as possible through our Projects such as supplying families and elderly with basic food stables through food packages, challah distribution at our branches in Tzfat, Jerusalem, Tiberias, Dimona, and Or Akiva. Our food packages and meals served at our dining centers are prepared fresh and according to the best cooking practices and include the best organic ingredients to give a stomach-full nutritious dining experience to thousands of people suffering from food insecurity and hunger.

We Make A Difference. So Can You

Thousands of people have taken advantage of our food packages, and grocery cards which allow families to purchase grocery and food items of their own choice from retail stores. Meir Panim’s prepaid cards are reserved to purchase grocery items alone and not valid for other items like cigarettes or wine, etc.

Donating to an Israeli charity, Meir Panim is as easy as counting 1,2,3. You can donate to us online without getting out of your house and staying safe. Meir Panim is one of the largest assistance networks for the needy with 650,600 hot meals served each year, 4,718 grocery shopping cards being distributed annually to families and elderly, and 34,500 children’s means per year on the record.

Together we can fight for hunger-free Israel. So, Donate now and save lives!

Why It Is Important To Donate To Israeli Charities?

Are you interested in supporting an Israeli charity? God has given you a special gift of compassion for others. Why should you donate to Israeli charities? That might be a question on your mind. Israelis are more likely to live in poverty than the rest of the world, with 21% living in poverty despite their prosperous economy. Israeli government efforts to assist the poor have not been enough to meet the needs of many of these families. The poor in Israel have access to a variety of non-profit organizations that provide assistance.

Israel’s Meir Panim relief organization works to eliminate hunger and despair among Israelis through various programs. We are committed to protecting Israel’s young, women, and children.

Providing support to Israeli charities makes the future better

The relief we promised to bring to as many Israelis as possible through our efforts aimed at improving Israelis’ lives. In addition to operating soup kitchens, restaurant chains, and children’s programs that help offer both nutritional and intellectual support, Meir Panim manages troublesome adolescent activities, and he runs a food-packing enterprise. Moreover, it distributes food coupons to the needy, as well as recycles furniture and discarded equipment.

The Israeli charities have provided relief to tens of thousands of people who are escaping poverty. With the help of donations from Israeli citizens and some of the organizations’ international branches, these organizations can continue to do good work and help even more people break the cycle of poverty. How about you? Are you considering to donate to Israeli charities?

Become a part of the Israeli charity landscape – Don’t leave it up to them alone

We provide grocery cards and food packages to thousands of customers who can shop for groceries anywhere they want.
