We at Meir Panim continue to take care of all the needy, Holocaust survivors, and youth in their daily dealings and holidays. Feel free to be impressed by a few more examples from our range of activities and our own volunteers!
Let’s see what happens in our branches now: we’re starting to organize the food baskets for Passover. Our many volunteers pack the food thanks to your generous donations, making sure that any needy, Holocaust survivor or family will not be left without food on the holiday.
What is in our Passover food basket? Each family receives from us a cooked hot meal, fruits and vegetables as well as a basket with dry products such as wine, matzah, oil, preserves and a variety of other products to pass the Passover in satiety. Also, our branches have already started preparing for the holiday: we clean, take out and prepare the dishes for Passover, so that we can prepare hot, delicious and kosher meals for all our needy!
Following the war in Ukraine, thousands of refugees immigrated to Israel. We did not forget them and were happy to distribute food baskets for Passover, in cooperation with the mayor of Dimona and the entire welfare department of the municipality
Our Holocaust Survivors Club in Dimona continues to be run with lots of love and giving! Our volunteers made sure to provide the survivors with Passover packages, games, and smiles. Have a Happy holiday!
