Supporting IDF forces: Isn’t it our duty to help them?
Almost half of the IDF’s troops are not citizens of Israel, yet they serve in the IDF without families? A small percentage of soldiers come from families that abandoned them or who had abusive childhoods when they chose to join the army.
The troops are forgotten and left alone when the rest of the world is celebrating festivals and Shabbat. These soldiers sacrifice a lot to serve our country. Our purpose at Meir Panim is to assist IDF personnel in any way we can.
Supporting the soldiers of the IDF: What can you do?
Supporting and caring for these lonely soldiers is possible with donations. Hot Shabbat meals, holiday meals, or food shipments would be provided to these soldiers.
By establishing a cohesive community, Meir Panim argues that we can fight food insecurity, hunger, and emotional misery by establishing dedication, support, and care. We offer a platform that connects soldiers with people who care about them and want to help. We make it easy for you to support the IDF soldiers.
Introducing Meir Panim, the IDF’s support project
Showing your support and gratitude to IDF soldiers by treating them to Shabbat or holiday meals is a great gesture. Anytime our defenders need food, we will provide them with a hot and delectable meal. All the people who need our help are important to us, whether they are combat soldiers or new recruits, or disabled veterans with families who are struggling to survive. The moment we see a soldier in need, we move to offer a helping hand.
You can be part of this humanitarian hob! Just join us by donating whatever amount you can afford. Keep in mind, your support to IDF soldiers is the pillar of future secured Israel.
